About Poise

Growing up I heard stories of my grandmother narrowly escaping foot binding. How my mother lived through the Cultural Revolution in China was confined to only grey and khaki clothing. These were the driving forces for me to pursue fashion, so I could create colourful clothing that is not only stylish but comfortable as well.

Shortly after moving to Australia, I completed my qualifications in Fashion Design and Production at The Sydney Institute of Technology where I strived daily and won the most outstanding student and excellence in design awards. I continued to gain experience in both design and production from working for major fashion companies. POISE Fashion was then born and the passion for creating fun, stylish, funky, colourful and comfortable styles has begun! I work with many gorgeous fabrics of different textures and prints that I adore and I skillfully use a combination of different patterns and trims to create unique and classic pieces that I know many women would love!
